What to Expect from Our Blog – Unstoppable Foodie

Welcome to the Unstoppable Foodie. We are so glad you stopped by to visit with us. Unstoppable Foodie was created out of a passion for discovering great food. We have an insatiable desire to discover great recipes, try new dishes, find great restaurants and learn new cooking techniques. Our mission is simple….“Exploring the world, one dish at a time.”

Dale and Valarie Nat, a husband and wife team of foodies started Unstoppable Foodie in 2018. Valarie’s gifts center around cooking great food. After years of cooking for a foodie husband, four kids, three exchange students, friends and family, Valarie has transformed herself into a fearless home chef who loves the challenges of cooking with a new recipe or ingredient. Dale loves reading, writing, photography and sampling new food. At the intersection of their passions for creating and sampling new foods, writing, reading, traveling, and photography, Unstoppable Foodie was created.

In between raising four children and currently one exchange student from Mexico, working on their environmental, health and safety (EHS) consulting business, Dale Environmental, they are exploring the world of food through restaurants, recipes, cookbooks, chefs and great food blogs and magazines. Unstoppable Foodie is based out of northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA), but travel far and wide on our culinary adventures. Two of our favorite and regular foodie destinations is coastal Maine (lobster) and Philadelphia (everything else) as we will share across many blog and social media posts.

The approach at Unstoppable Foodie is simple, as stated by Julia Child; “Learn how to cook – try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless and above all have fun.” We do not take ourselves too seriously and always have fun around discovering and preparing amazing food. We want to use our passion of discovering great recipes and food and share them with others. Come enjoy the simple pleasures in life; great food, great friends and great conversation.

Our goal is to have our passion for food inspire you the way it excites us. We believe a “recipe” is a metaphor for life. How much time, quality, ingredients and effort you put into it, determines how amazing it turns out at the end. Come join us as we pursue great recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques to produce a “five senses” appreciation of food. We use sight, sound, smell, touch and most importantly taste to create and experience amazing food.  Come along for the ride as we celebrate the art of cooking.
