Cooking Workshop: Valarie’s Signature Dishes – Class #2

Cook alongside Valarie in her kitchen preparing some of her most requested dishes and time-tested recipes in this hands-on workshop. These dishes show up at so many of our special occasions and gatherings. They are all unique to Valarie’s cooking style of elevating each dish through the use of special ingredients, spices and cooking techniques. This workshop will allow you to walk away with the skills to prepare them for your friends and family at your next gathering.

Pumpkin- Spiced Candied Bacon – You ask how can bacon taste any better? We found the perfect seasoning blend that caramelizes the bacon strips to near perfection. Once you have had this candied bacon, you will never want to go back to the way it was before.

Chicken and Cheese Taquito’s – This dish always falls in our top ten list. These fried taquitos filled with a beautiful blend of cheeses and pulled chicken always deliver.

Garlic Cilantro Lime Chicken – The common chicken thigh is elevated to a star dish when combined with the flavor profile of freshly chopped cilantro, garlic and lime. This dish served over rice always delivers. The perfect family meal for any night of the week.

Pulled Pork Sliders – This melt in your mouth pulled pork simmered in Valarie’s wicked barbeque sauce. It is prepared in a crock pot. Another family meal that can be enjoyed any season. Learn to mix Valarie’s wicked barbeque sauce as you make this dish. This perennial favorite is served in our house all year long.

Maine Blueberry Mousse Shooters – Wyman’s Maine blueberries blended into a flavorful mousse and served in a white chocolate shooter cup.

All classes included everything needed. Bring your favorite chef’s knives and apron or use ours. Class size will be limited to 8-10 students for a memorable and intimate culinary experience. More than a just a cooking class, share in our passion of seeking out great food and learn the story behind the origins of each dish, the unique flavor profiles, quality ingredients used and time-tested cooking techniques. Cost: $75/student.
